Ganesh Mahotsav 2023

“Ganpati Bappa Morya!”- The Silicon and Civic Family chanted it loudly when Shri Ganesh came to bless us on September 19, 2023. All of us celebrated Ganesh Mahotsav joyously and zealously for 10 days. Apart from having ‘Aarti’ twice in a day and Prasad, the entire Silicon and Civic family gathered at sharp 7 pm to pray Lord Ganesh, chant Aarti, and offer ‘Bhog’ (food that we served as ‘Prasad’ to all).

Lord Ganesh stayed in our company for 10 days and all of us felt positive and powerful vibes every time. It was like our biggest well wisher and the most beloved person came to visit our office! The HR department has skilfully arranged all the team members in 10 different teams so that all of us have a chance to perform Aarti and seek blessings from Lord Ganesh individually. What’s more, all of us had joy of having different delicious sweets as Prasad every day!

As the quote reads- Arrival and deprature is the low of life. We bid adieu to Lord Ganesh with heavy heart after 10 days. All of us felt bad in saying goodbye to ‘Vidhnaharta’ Shri Ganesh, and our collective feeling was raciprocated as showers of blessings came from the sky! Ganesh Visarjan made all of us emotional, but again, we chanted loudly ‘Pudhachya Varshi Lavkar Ya’ meaning Come again next year!

Ganesh Mahotsav is an auspicious occasion. Dedicated efforts of the HR department and the top management’s unflinching devotion with all team members’faith and pure love for Lord Ganesh have made this festival memorable. Let’s wait together for Lord Ganesh to come next year!
